- Mac users have it pretty good when it comes to office software, as Pages, Numbers, and Keynote are available for free for anyone who owns an Apple device. If you're looking to create a presentation on a Mac, Keynote is a very good place to start.
- Pages, Numbers, and Keynote are designed for the iPhone and all iPad models. Each app is free to download. Each app is free to download. All three are also available on the Mac App Store.
After searching the internet and chatting with Apple tech support
Along the righthand side of the App store there will be a featured selection of FREE apps for download. You will see Pages, Keynote and Numbers in that free section. If you don’t see them in the top 10 click on ‘See All’ on top of the Top Free window. It will open up the whole free apps list and you’ll find them there. Pages, Numbers, and Keynote are Apple s office/business productivity software applications. Originally a suite of software called iWork, these apps are roughly the equivalent of Microsoft Office s Word, Excel, and PowerPoint but implemented quite differently with Apple s approach to design and functionality. Hello, I just reste my mac and used an Apple id that I had even before I purchased my new Macbook Pro Retina 15 in November 2013. I had Keynote, Numbers etc all for free with Mavericks.
they 'finally' suggested looking at my App Store purchase history <---
Are Pages Numbers And Keynote Free
The past Pages and Numbers downloads were there with an INSTALL button at the right edge.
When I tried to install it said a newer version was on the App Store, but I could install the 'older' version...
which I did.......
I now have the versions I need for 10.13.6 up and working......
I wish the Apple tech support and/or the Apple community were cognizant of this solution.
thanx...Mark

As first spotted by MacRumors, Apple on Tuesday updated GarageBand, iMovie, Keynote, Pages, and Numbers for Mac and iOS, so that those apps are now free. Before today, those apps were free to users who bought a new Mac, iPhone, or iPad, and the free download was a one-time event. Now the apps are free all the time.
